What Wuboo does

Wuboo is a browser extension and web app that helps you get more out of AI. You choose from a catalog of named rules, and when Wuboo is on, it automatically detects which of your rules fit a message you are about to send on a supported AI chat site, then adds them to that message before it sends.

Account information

When you create a Wuboo account, we collect your name (if you provide one), your email address, and basic account metadata such as when your account was created and when you last signed in. We use this to run your account and to apply your usage limits.

Prompt content

To decide which rules apply to a message, the draft text you are about to send is sent from your browser to Wuboo's backend, which asks Anthropic's Claude API to identify matching rules. We do not store the text of your prompts once that request completes. Anthropic processes this text on our behalf, under its own API terms and privacy policy.

Usage data

We track how many rule-detection requests your account makes each calendar month, so we can apply your plan's monthly limit. We do not track the content of those requests beyond what is needed to process them, as described above.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your prompts or account data to train AI models.
• We do not track your browsing outside the specific AI chat sites Wuboo works with.

Where data is stored

Account and usage data are stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Your signed-in session and extension settings are stored locally in your browser.

Permissions the browser extension requests

• Storage, to remember whether Wuboo is turned on and to store your signed-in session.
• Access to the specific AI chat sites Wuboo supports, so it can find your message box and add the rules block. Wuboo does not run on, or collect data from, any other website.
• Network access to Wuboo's own backend and to Firebase's authentication services, so your account and detections work.

Your choices

You can turn Wuboo off at any time from the toolbar button. No rules are added and no prompt text is sent while it is off. To delete your account and the data described above, contact us at the address below.

Children

Wuboo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If Wuboo's data practices change in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
